Kids having trouble?  The most important thing you can do is see Anne Lewis

When she walked through our front door one Sunday morning, it was step one in getting our problems solved.  Our boy went away to a program and school she recommended, and eighteen months later, he walked in the front door and in those eighteen months our family had been healed.

Parents cannot do this themselves.  I tell my friends who see the success and healing our family has had, you cannot just send your child to our child’s school.   The school Anne recommended was right for him, but you child’s specific issues and the intensity of those issues are different from our child’s.  You need someone who can measure the intensity of your child’s issues on a scale of from 1 to 10 and also know the schools and put them on a scale of 1 to 10 and then match the level of intensity with the specific issues and interests of the kid.

Our boy was putting his finger in our face.  We told our friends whose kid was doing  it behind their backs through failing in school or associating with the wrong kids, the most important thing you can do is see Anne Lewis.  Seeing her was the first step in making our family better permanently.

You may not realize how bad things are.  If you put a frog in boiling water, he’s knows he’s got trouble.  If you put him in a pan of tepid water and raise the temperature slowly, degree by degree, he’ll hardly notice the change.  That’s what’s happening in lots of homes.  One piece of advice:  Get started early.  Less entrenched.
